Young, rough. Even after decanting still didn't smooth out.

Medium purple color.
Aromas of baked blueberry, vanilla.
Dry. Flavors of baked blueberry, vanilla, cocoa, licorice.

Waitrose. Smooth and very fruity for a Malbec. Not as much depth and body as might be expected. Reasonable but nothing special.

Great value. Good fruit and lots of earth/mineral. Wifey liked it too.

I enjoyed this Malbec. Enough body and acidity without being overwhelming. A good shareable wine.

I like it, but something is holding me back from giving it high marks.

After opening a second bottle, I’m still happy with this Malbec, but it’s still not a favorite. Just an aftertaste that doesn’t sit well. Not bad, just not wonderful.

Smooth maybe with hints of sweetness (but not over powering)
