45 minutes decanting is highly recommended. It went up from a boring slightly oaky chardonnay to a complex, oily, ample top quality burgundy, with that irresistible gasoline riesling profile, yet unmistakably bourguignon. One of the best Violettes I've ever had. A tremendous example of wine transformation in a decanter.
