Very nice Pinot, six years on. It had excellent concentration as though every grape in this bottle was from the same cluster. Great balance between sweet fruit and acidity. For a grape and a region both known for their pleasing aromatics, the nose was sadly shy. The disappointment was fleeting however, as it did not have the same character flaws on the palate. It would likely have had a few years more potential before peak-drinking but it’s comfortably in its (long) window now.
