Side by side with the KB one sixteen Chardonnay and I surprisingly preferred the KB. This was more muted - part of it was it was a bit too warm and the stemware wasn't helping. But I thought this seemed less complex and less tension filled than prior bottles.

Yum. Beautiful golden hue. Sweet pineapple with a terrific acidic and mineral finish framing the fruit. Oak is subdued and a smooth finish.
