Bourgogne Cotes D'Auxerre Pinot Noir

Very bright clear red. Cherry. Minerality/gravel. Burnt caramel at first sniff then turns ashy/smoky, then becomes herbal and vegetal like spinach and dark leafy greens. Aromas develop and change the more you smell. Medium light body. Tasted this at vin de Terre wine tasting in Nice, France.

Very bright cherry red. Caramel at first sniff, then minerality/ash, then leafy greens like spinach. Good legs, light body, vegetal. Upon reading other comments gun powder is a very accurate descriptor and was part of what I was searching for but couldn't quite put my finger on. Very enjoyable. Tasted ah the Vin de Terre wine tasting in Nice, France. This is an organic wine.
