Lovely wine, but we made the mistake of opening it after finishing off what was left of a very full-bodied Ribera del Duero, which made this wine seem lighter-weight and more acidic than it really is. Eager to revisit this on day 2.

Just tried this wine with a little bit of age on it (they are currently selling the 2012). Big dark fruits, toasted almonds, black pepper, cassis, smokey goodness, mellow tannins. Really enjoyable with a medium rare steak!

Smells fantastic but a little bland. Soft and yummy.
