No. 3 in the White Burgundy Grand Cru lineup tasted blind. Nutty caramel note, muted fruit at this stage. Piercing intensity on the palate. Powerful. Wonderful. So much potential. I expect fireworks in 5 to 10 years for those lucky enough to be holding a bottle. The class of Chevalier shining through.

My favorite from a tasting of 2015 Grand Cru whites. Marzipan, lychee nut, lemon grass, spice, flint nose - opulent, sexy, layered, complex and powerful mouth. Oozing with texture and focused detailed flavor. Impressive combination of opulence and laser focus. Wow!
