Haven’t had in 3+ years. Nose is waxy. complex, spicey, mineral and so complex Almost a potpourri effect. Yellow fruits. So granitic. Just awesome. Rich, viscous, custardy but also so elegant which is where these wines excel. This is $300 Burgundy elegance with $65 N. Rhone white fruit and minerality, which to be fair is niche. But I am in that niche. So good for me? Long finish. Awesome dry extract. This is amazing. What improvement.

Wonderful nose. So mineral. Yellow fruits. Savory. Lemon, lime, smells almost lean. Some apricot and tangerine jelly. Palate is super complex and balanced with amazing texture and so juicy. Balanced and super elegant with energy and length. Yellow fruits so delicate. Wonderful playfulness. Chewy, dense and complex. A baby now but has a long life ahead of it.

Complex and juicy work terrific texture and superb depth and concentration. Long, epic finish and tingling acid and zest. An epic bottle that has 15+ years ahead of it.

1 person found it helpfulNov 23rd, 2021This is amazing. Nose has an earthy bark thing. Smells like a dry forest with a tropical element. Resinous quality as well. Herbal element. Palate is explosive, powerful, yet elegant and concentrated. So much more to say but fun to drink now.
