Cuvée Les Champans Bourgogne Chardonnay

Pop and pour. I can only believe all my bottles of this were damaged. Sadly, like the previous experience, which was completely unlike any rendition of this wine I've ever had. Counterpoint: my wife said "I thoight this was off to start, but I really like it with some air." Drinkable, but to my palate, something is clearly off.

Ugh. Was hoping this would be different from the Equinces, but no such luck. This is a sloppy mess and absolutely nothing like any vintage of this wine I have had previously. Almost oxidized, but blowsy rich fruit and betrays its heat. A little better on the palate as the attack recedes. Drinkable but really not very good.
