Unusual color for sure. Like a cross between a rose and a red wine. Nose of spice, flint, dusty cherry fruit, citrus rind (orange), tree bark and some nice minerality. Rustic and charming with a hint of etherealness. Some sweaty, feral notes as well. Palate is fresh, uncomplicated and so juicy. Lithe and pretty with a lovely persistence. Nice mouthfeel and elegant tannins. Great freshness, acidity and persistence. Just a pretty when with a hint of rusticity. Love it. This really comes together with air. Also should be drunk slightly chilled. Maybe cellar temp. It’s much better. Textured and deep. 9.1 to 9.2. Nice complexity develops as well. Lacey. Really good.
