What a nice little value, with all that bacon fattiness on the palate... Good pepper and spice and fruit too! Subtle wine that lacks the punch of other wine from the area, but makes up for it by being well rounded and delicious.

Smoke, leather, and dark plums on the palate and in the nose. Needs an ample decant to round the dusty tannins. In fact, let this sit for another year in the cellar before giving it a try.
