1987 Baron Chenard Montrachet. Showing strong visual signs of oxidation but actually quite lovely on the palate. Green apple and sharp minerals with a nice round mouthfeel. Not perfect but a great experience.

A little bit yellower than Bouchard 2011, slim round, delicate and finesse, very soft. Later meaty, green beans, salty notes. 17 hours later, good acidity, gunflint and mineral, with hidden power. Full of potential. Great wine! 2017-05-06

Love lunches with the Firmenich guys.....2006 Montrachet Grand Gru .......absolutely gorgeous.....big but not flabby still tons of minerality, just slightly maderized with age which actually made it brilliant......classic old burgundy.......good start to a Friday
