Paired to duck confit (D'Artagnan) over green/red lentils with a hit of Dijon mustard to get the acid balance to perfection.

Mildly acceptable, I'm not looking for caramel or oxidized apple notes in Les Folatières...oak is too prominent. We'll see if subsequent bottles on this vintage show equally.
