Domaine Anne Gros
Bourgogne Pinot Noir
More modern in style. Certainly these wines will appeal to a broader audience, but would not define as classic.

1 person found it helpfulJun 1st, 2019A bit more concentrated fruit on the nose than I would expect from a Burgundian Pinot but not at all overly extracted and still allowing for earthy and herbaceous secondary notes to express themselves. Palate is classily Burgundian and in my opinion rivals 1cru quality. Bright red fruit with a hint of tartness, bright acidity and continual development through drinking.
