Whelan's Wines from a John Wilson article, love a good sancerre rouge, very versatile had it chilled with monkfish, and then went v well with cheese after. I don't normally say this but what a cracking wine, no fuss immediate satisfaction, love it. €19.50 winner winner

Great wine very light subtle fruit but held up well with rabbit entree and did not overpower seared tuna.
