Allemand has basically revived this grape, Mollard, from the brink of extinction. It’s a great story, I wish the wine was as good as the story. It became more difficult to drink the longer it was open. I would probably open this again to tell the story and see if it was a bottle/vintage issue.

Bright translucent ruby, bright red fruits, great acidity and minerality in this light bodied mollard. Excellent!

A distinctive wine from a seldom used grape. Light colour, fine flavour. Sampled at the vineyard and several bottles purchased straight away.
