Tasted blind next to 2010 Allemand Chaillot, this was immediately the fresher, more bountiful and vibrantly meaty, peppery and floral example of Northern Rhône. It did not have the weight, length or elegance of a slightly maturing Chaillot but surprised us all nonetheless.

Smokey bacon in droves. Savory and delicious. Long finish. Yum. I remember tasting at the Voge estate over 15 years ago, and these wines still blow my mind.

A great surprise, after some air it blossomed, dark fruits, smoke, bacon, aftertaste was delicious and thrilling.
