There's so much energy in this wine, but it's not ready to share with you. Enjoyable strawberry/blueberry fun with a decant, but my instincts say this is just the trailer for the feature film to be released in 2020.

All strawberry on opening, a long decant brought out the mineral and earthy notes. Delicious, but give it a little time.

This has really evolved since the last bottle of this I had. I gave this a long decant (4 hours) but it drank beautifully. Rich fruit, good acidity and much more approachable tannins than my earlier bottle (which was closer to release).

Obviously way too young. There’s tasty fruit up front but tannins pull down pretty quickly. They’re not harsh tannins so it’s drinkable now but it’s got a bright future. This is with about two hours plus decant.

Nose is purple grape with some wild red berry. Juicy on palate, big acidity, raspberry & strawberry jam. The longer it’s open, a salty/white pepper/ wet stone vibe kicks in on the finish. Similarities to a good Cru Beaujolais.

Ripe but not a fruit bomb, this wine has plenty of structure and acidity. Think French, not Spanish.
