Di Costanzo’s Farella vineyard is a favorite of mine — too bad I only have 1-2 bottles of the ‘17 left! This time, I’m noticing that it does “feel” lighter than a traditional napa cab. It has some slaty or volcanic properties that you might almost see in an Italian wine. $105 (I think).

2017 Farella vineyard. I may like it more each time I taste it. It’s so bright and smooth, low tannins for a cab of this age.
