Beautiful ruby red color, light body, a little too astringent and acidic for my taste though.

A perfect example of Clarksburg CB - not too sweet, perfectly balanced with flavors of pears and dried apricots with a honeysuckle bouquet and a soft smooth mouthfeel. Superlative food wine which makes me long for The City of Trees.

Too minerally and acidic for what I like in a Pinot Noir

Sight: not viscous, thin. Pink at the very edge, then turns to a translucent ruby.
Smell: strawberries, raspberries, roses, bright
Taste: off dry, light tart berries like cherries and cranberries, nice acidity, a little bit of tannin too, a nice strawberry taste that isn't too sweet or strong, also a depth of honey (again not sweet but there), with my meat sauce it also took on a deeper buttery flavor
Opinion: nice light red, I enjoyed this one
