Dark garnet purple in the glass. Big fruity nose of plum and black cherry. Medium-body palate yields the same fruit with some tarry stone towards the finish, all wrapped in firm (medium plus) tannins and acidity. I’m liking this with my pork chops. A prime rib might be a great pair as well.
