Dark color. Fancy label for a southern Frenchie. Smells like old books, red fruit jam and wet gravel. Flavor is clean and generous. Plenty of berry. Hint of liquor from dark fruits. Juicy. Has a fruit leather thing in the finish. This is a fruit forward, warm France crowd pleaser. Not ponderous by any means, but pretty dang enjoyable.
