Chataue Neuf du Pape is my all time favourite wine. They tend to be demanding to really get the best out of and this was no exception. It took a full day of airing before it gave up its fiches, but when it did it was wonderful the lingering aftertaste, devoid of any sharpness allowed you to enjoy each mouthful long after you've quaffed. Each glass, therefore, lasts and lasts making sense of the value of this wine. Enjoy.
