Layer or darker red and black fruit but well balanced finish. LOVED THIS!paired well with a big block of steak and cheese (Parmesan and Manchego in this case).

Typically a producer that makes it tough to differentiate between AVA and vintage, this one’s a bit of an exception. Bright cola, dirt, cherry, and flesh. Really good bottle.

American oak carved and grooved Alain Fouquet Connoisseurs Series -- had shipped after touring the caves in Napa valley. Very good. Not sure why we waited so long to open this one.

Wanted a special wine for a special prime rib dinner bday celebration. For a 2013, this wine was so smooth. Soft. Beautiful. Luscious. Fruity. Mellow. Wonderful. Sure you can lay this down but it was outstanding!
