We were going to skip this but turned out to be awesome! Very smooth but dry and very oaky, almost close to a cab. Velvety. Surprisingly a great go-to wine! Was delicious with roasted chicken and garlic, yum! But didn't stand up to steak at all! This may be great with a salmon possibly. Very good Merlot.
