Nose of cherry, blackberry and a metal thing. The palate is well balanced with those same berries and fruits, an ample, wide dimension with a kind of sweetness on the sides, gentle tannins and some kind of an acid backbone for the balance. Finish with blackberries. We paired it with an Alsace specialty : a baeckeoffe (a pork stew with white wine, lots of spices, carrots, potatoes, leek, oignons)
