Wekken Sour Belgian Ale

So easy and balanced. Even my neighbors who don't like sour beers loved it.

I want to like this. I think it's a cool experiment: Stout meets Flemish Ale. But... it's not fun, it's not Kid A. It's just a weird, fat, stanky beer. Maybe I just don't get it. Or I got a bad bottle. I don't know.

Delicious blend of Left Hand's Imperial Stout and De Proef Brouwerij's Flemish Red. The dark chocolatey Imperial stout dominates the flavor profile and the sweet and sour Flemish red really provides a nice liveliness that rounds out the palate. Like chocolate covered cherries.

Funky sour porter... Not sure if I like it, yet.
