DeLoach 2007 Masut Vineyard Pinot Noir. Received in the May Circle of Boisset Wine Club shipment. Paired it with a simple meal of grilled bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and salad. Garnet to brick red in color. Aromas of dried cherry, dried apricot, raisin and dusty earth. Mouthwatering acidity, silky tannins. High alcohol which dissipated some time after opening. Flavors of cherry jam, pine forest floor, vanilla and baking spices. Medium to long finish. I don't usually decant Pinot, but I recommend decanting this one.
