Naturally made white blend from the Swartland using older French oak, unfiltered and unfined. Blend of Chenin blanc, Viognier, Clarette Blanche and Rousanne. 6 barrels made. Characterful with lively acid, white peach and almost pithy on the mid palate with a savory, herbal like saline finish. This wine is full of personality and certainly interesting. Pleased I have 2 more bottles in my cellar.

First wine from South Africa for me. David and Martha (husband and wife) make this wine. Easy on the nose and silky smooth; complex aftertaste though

interesting white field blend from newish Swartland producer, which for good or ill falls into a sort of meh white Rhone place for me. in other words: as ever, this note is more about the taster than the wine.
