This is an excellent example of 100% carignan and how it has been revolutionized from its history as a cheap table wine. Loads of dark cherry and mild tannins. Not jammy but fruity. Drink now!

2015 older vintage. Amazing. A new favorite. Deep cherry and balanced. Nice oak at the end is perfect and not overwhelming.

Ref fruit and some notes or orange peel and forest floor. Smooth tannins all the way through spiked with sour cherries and a hint of eucalyptus at the finish. Let's see what it holds tomorrow

Beautiful floral notes with nice smooth tannic structure. A great wine for taking a spring walk through the vineyards!!

SWEET BERRY WINE!!! Luscious red fruit that was jammy an rich with a mild tannin structure. Peaking now and was absolutely worth the wait.

Happy hour! I love Carignan partly because it usually plays second fiddle to other varietals and mostly because of its big and refreshing drinkability. David Coffaro brings a wine that's fruit forward without the bomb. Very balanced with a respectable finish. So, cheers!
