While this wine is very drinkable, it tastes nothing like Sangiovese from Italy. Not even the fruit profile. It tastes like a Napa Valley blend of very ripe; Merlot, Cabernet & Cabernet Franc in that order. If you fancy that style, you’ll enjoy it. If you are looking for Sangiovese, you’ll be somewhat disappointed.

Went all around the world tonight from South Africa, to the Rhone Valley in France to two areas in Tuscany in Italy and back to the good ole US of A on Pritchard Hill in California. Fantastic wine to end with, great fruit and with a lot of life left in this bottle since it's just a puppy. Great night with great friends over great pizza!
