When I first opened, it tasted a bit sweet and fruity. Given a little bit of breathing, tannin and acidity increased and this became a pleasant drink with a bit of juiciness.

With some breathing, this wine becomes very lovely. Cherries, strawberries, hint of smoke and vanilla, little pepper-just enough tannins for bite and fresh acidity!! Had it with English cheddar cheese and apples and it worked!

Fine, nothing wrong with it. Smooth, not too many notes or flavor. Less bold than a cab. Wouldnt buy again.
