This 2006 Darms Lane is drinking perfectly now. Everything you'd want in a Napa cab. Concentrated dark fruits on the nose and mid-palate with a "stick to the side of your cheeks" mouth feel and balanced tannins on the finish.

Dry and tannic. Cigar and damp earth with a definite hint of oak. Not very fruit forward reminds me of a typical Bordeaux style Cabernet. Chalky and well balanced.

Wasn't a huge fan. Found it to have a very chalky taste to it. Also a bit too tannic for my liking.
