Light marron glacé aromatics, the real star is the density of the mid-palate; sappy & expressive in the best possible way. Viscosity buttressed with acid. Long finish. Light to medium gold. Light to medium bodied. Not much on nose or palate. Easy to drink, silky, and fresh. Hint of citrus, or almond, I can't say. Just perfect to start a meal or with a roast chicken. Jan 2022.

From Cote Catalanes. 100% Carignan Blanc. Very unusual stuff! Clear, light gold. Nose is herbal. Palate mostly mineral with a suggestion of pineapple. Long, long finish suggesting burnt almond which Judy did not enjoy as much as I did.
Difficult to describe this wine but is highly pleasurable and worth searching out. Excellent with food.
