Celebrating 5 years with my bride at our usual spot, Wild Olives in Rosemary Beach.

My exposure to Barolo may be limited but this was easily the best one I’ve ever had. Highly perfumed with rustic cherries, mint sprigs, licorice, menthol, clove, tobacco. Went down the pipe smooth as all get out - so pretty. Paired with elk from Colorado that was killed just one day prior to being served to us.
