Definitely one of my favorite Zins. Full bodied with a delicious tangy/velvety finish.

Dark ruby in color with a dark brick rim.

Fruity on the nose with black currants, blackberries, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices, peppercorn, leather, smoke, coffee, chocolates, candy and black pepper.

Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, wood, light vanilla, light cola, black licorice and black pepper.

Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and spicy ending.

A nice Californian Zinfandel.
Simple, balanced and smooth.
Nice and light mouthfeel, on this 4 year old Zinfandel. Enjoyable by itself or with food like BBQ Meats. I paired it with a cheese plate and fruits.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes in a decanter. Peaking now, so if you have one, drink up.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

It's an easy drink, but very simple. Not a lot of flavor. Wouldn't buy it again.

Wine had a very odd taste - not the usual 2012
Zin. Some thought it was OK, some thought it was sweet and some, harsh.

A bit thin right after opening. Seems to improve somewhat after about an hour. Black cherry, or maybe boysenberry on the nose. Light jam and minerals on taste. Some spice, but not a lot. Went well with taco salad tonight. Decent for $8 or $9, but don't expect too much.

Good enough for a convenience store option and a quick dinner.
