Le Bel Ouvrage Savennières Chenin Blanc
CVed 1/24/18. Deeper golden color than first wine. Distinctly oxidative nose with honeyed notes, stone fruit and minerals. Acidic and biting texture and finish that's long. Worried was premox but it's fine. Better drink up though. Not clear from where but must be early Gordon's.

Jan 25th, 2018Nose of flowers and honey with prominent acidic and minerals notes. Also notes of oxidation. Palate of stone fruits and finish of rocks and again a bit of that amber Sherry notes. Went really well with sticky rice balls and meat.
