Chiantis always seem like a good pairing for pats with red sauce, so this is another area I'm looking for a reliable bargain this one was pretty forgettable though.

Completely drinkable table red, but nothing to call home about. I liked the tender fruitiness and balanced acidity but the bland taste and overly alcoholic sent make it only an average wine. I wouldn't turn down a glass but I wouldn't order it either.

First smell is tart. Plum. Very dry. Paired with grilled peppered (heavily) chicken, green peppers and baby portabella mushrooms. Awesome with the food.
