2007. I like this vintage. It's appropriately gentle and more old school than some of the aggressively oak driven vintages of recent.

Red fruits, spice, cedar and hint of Levi Garrett jump out of the glass. Awesome Rioja.

This might be the best Tempranillo I have ever tasted. Soft and gentle with no overbearing oak for a Gran Reserva. Soft tannins and beautiful fruit notes. So good we had two bottles.

Feb 16th, 2017Coconut taffy, savory red fruit, just right acidity, enticing and gentle tannin. Great wine from a not so good vintage.
