Grand Malbec

Awesome a first for me! I have had multiple vintages of the normal Malbec and others from this producer.. This is there finest offering . Loaded with soft tannins that meld with gobs of Fruit! It was my first wine of the night. Awesome is my thoughts here. CB

This is one of five bottles at a recent tasting. This was not the youngest. However, I was quite taken back by how wonderfully it’s still drank - a 21-year-old Malbec. I can’t tell you about the berries and the fruits and any of the other 175 taste descriptions. all I know is the tannins and fruits were in very good balance after all these years. 

16.5% alcohol has a tingle on the tongue but it carries it alright

Extremely smooth upon first sip. Until it rests on your pallette and the flavours then come out.

Super dry. Bitter red fruit. Black pepper. Big momma.

Excelent body, full of oak flavor. Nicest Malbec in years!
