California Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim and medium intensity.

Very fruity on the nose with black currants, blackberries, figs, raisins, vanilla, sweet oak, spices, chocolates, black pepper and alcohol.

Medium plus in body and creamy with medium minus acidity and nice legs.

Dry to off dry on the palate with sweet cherries, plums, blueberries, oak, vanilla licorice, spices, smoke, black pepper, chocolates, mocha, coke and light tobacco.

Medium on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a simple Cabernet from California. Not fully balanced, but enjoyable by itself or with food.

A bit weird tasting, but I couldn't put my finger on it, maybe aged in wood chips?? Nonetheless, it is very drinkable and not too offensive. Might be a little too sweet for some.
