I'm always looking for an inexpensive wine thats surprisingly good. This one was just ok, drinkable, light tannins, mostly plum notes. Dark reddish purple in color, 13.5% abv. I paid only $4.99 at a local grocer. Ive just lowered my wine rating for this wine, it gave me a head ache.The search goes on!

The 2014 is an 85-86 at best. When decanted or swirled it revivals that it is a decent table wine, smooth, good flavor but no outstanding great flavors of an outstanding cab sauvignon. It is by far not great but it isn't bad. .

I love Cabs. I live for a great Cab. This is not a great Cab. It’s drinkable. But, I wouldn’t want another glass. Which is problematic when I have an entire bottle. Luckily I have other bottles I’m willing to open. I will say this would be great for cooking or creating a fruity iced beverage. Thus, it serves an important purpose.
