Paired really well with pesto pasta with chicken. Thought it would clash a bit, but actually paired very well. Would recommend with this pairing. For me the pairing makes the wine due to bringing all of the flavors from the wine and food. Even though ppl have ranked it lower, the pairing makes it a great wine. Needs to open up a bit, but once it does, it fully pours it's heart out. Plenty of smooth berries, hints of great vanilla, and went down smoothly.
