A whole bunch of new world Cabernet at the under $30 price point. Big, smoky notes of blackberry and pepper spice on the nose. Leather, plum, and the faint smell of persimmon though the middle drink. If there are any faults it's the acidity, especially when immediately opened, but the balance builds as this wine sits and matures. This a very complex wine for its price point.
