Cherry, cherry cough syrup in mouth, later blackberry emerges, with tar, barrel, and fig with a mint aftertaste. Syrupy mouthfeel, moderate plus tannins. Tart with plum and pomegranate, medium bitterness, heavy chewy astringency in finish. Full-bodied and boldish, complex with some charms but little finesse. Drinkable enough
