Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon

Spending the first half of SB50 with this lighter rendition of cab sauv. Flowers, cloves, leather, cherries, blackberries. Supple tannin. Smooth and elegant.

Simple and straightforward all around. Bright Bing cherry nose. Strong tannins and dry. A little raisiny and stewed cherry. Palate is more cherry with an unpleasant alc finish. Opened. 10/28/15

Super tannic with expression of high blue fruit. Drink soon with air- turbo blender decant.

Very nice drinkable wine. Fruit forward with smooth lingering finish.

Surprising for a CO wine. Well balanced.

Light, mineral

I love me some CO wine. This one gained flesh and depth with a few years of bottle rest and a couple hours in the decanter. More old world in style.

A little hot but still good.

Decanted for 3 hours. Graphite, leather and tar with hints of currant on the nose. Basically the same on the palette. Medium finish and light bodied for a cab.
