Courier was chef Jason Berthold's short lived wine label. Prior to Courier he worked with Abe Schoener on the Scholium Project wines. Abe's influence is very apparent here. There's a hint of VA and the alcohol is a tad out of balance, but there's a lot going on here and this wine really grew on me over a couple of hours. Bold, but light on its feet. 90 cases made. Apparently Abe bottled the 09-10 vintages of this wine under his own label after Jason abandoned the project when he became head chef at RN74.
