Côtes Catalanes Grenache Gris Grenache Blanc

This comes off considerably more ripe and marked by oak than the 2019. Bummer. Will probably show much better in a few years if the oak integrates, but not what I was looking for tonight.

I’m putting up a second note for this because you shouldn’t drink it the night you open it. Decant, back into the bottle, save it for the next day. Smoky mineral liqueur. Paired great with kimchee & bacon fried rice. Would be killer with sushi. *Rick Flair scream* Whooo!!

Green apple, a bit of spice, bright.. Super mineral. Complex. Needs a couple hours of air to come alive. Very long finish. Pair with oysters maybe? Didn’t really work with my halibut/hollandaise but fuck it. Can’t win ‘em all. // wow day two this sucker is singing.
