Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Stellar wine. Deep ruby. Black fruits across the board. Acid down. Still some tannin but unwinding gracefully. Bitter chocolate. Sweet tobacco. Cedar. Vanilla. Baking spice. Dried fig. No signs of slowing down.

Wow. After it opened up for close to an hour it was phenomenal . Extremely smooth with front nose explosiveness . Best I've had in a while.

A very fine wine; pared with roast pork at dinner.

We had the 2008. It's a little tight out of the gate but decanted 30 minutes later getting better and better
