Previous notes apply. I think it is getting better though!

Nose smells like poison perfume (Melanie’s contribution), violet, pepper, and dark fruit. Chocolate, coffee, cherry, stewed plums, molasses, and licorice on the palate.
Incredible complexity and balance. We love this wine.

Chocolatey cherries, cigar box, tannins, tar. Huge, dense. Love it!

.#CoupdeFoudre Blackberries, plum, tobacco, chewy, tannic. For how old it is, surprisingly fruit forward. Delicious!!!
